Where we sit
Between the agents people are starting to trust and the businesses those agents need to reach. The plumbing, the registry, the protocol layer. The connective tissue.
AI agents are starting to book, buy, and transact on behalf of real people. The web they need to operate on does not exist yet. We are building the rails.
The standard for agent-to-agent commerce. We shipped it first, and we are the first to run it at scale.
Our mission
Between the agents people are starting to trust and the businesses those agents need to reach. The plumbing, the registry, the protocol layer. The connective tissue.
Every web protocol that mattered, robots.txt, sitemap.xml, security.txt, started because one team shipped it first. The agentic web needs the same kind of opinionated start.
The model providers have agreed on a common protocol. AI traffic is converting. The infrastructure to make local commerce addressable to agents is the missing piece, and the window is measured in quarters, not years.
What we’re building
The directory agents trust. Beacon-aware assistants query
registry.beaconspec.com/mcp to find verified businesses, and load an open
skill that teaches any agent how to transact safely.
Where a business gets discovered. A short guided setup publishes your Beacon Spec profile, confirms you own your domain, and lists you, verified, at no cost.
List your business →The consumer agent that shows it working. Beacon-aware out of the box, BEA books and buys on a person’s behalf, and asks before it ever spends.
Meet BEA →How it works
/.well-known/mcp.json. It declares who they are, where their agent-callable
endpoint is, and what it can do.
Read the spec on GitHub.
/mcp.
BEA is that entire loop running live, a Beacon-aware assistant you can try today. But BEA isn’t special: any agent becomes Beacon-aware the moment you give it our open skill and a connection to the registry’s MCP endpoint.
Professional services
This isn’t a forecast. It’s already happening. People are handing buying decisions to AI agents, book the plumber, order the part, schedule the visit, and an agent can only buy from a business it can reach over a machine endpoint. Your website, your phone number, your five-star reviews? Invisible to it. The owners wiring up now will own this channel before their competitors know it exists, and that head start closes fast. We build the whole thing end to end: the MCP server or API behind your catalog, scheduling, and checkout, then publish and verify you in the registry, so the moment an agent comes looking, it finds you, not the business down the street. The world already changed. The only question is whether your business is reachable when the agent knocks.
We design and ship the MCP server or API that turns your catalog, availability, quotes, and orders into something an agent can act on.
We generate your /.well-known/mcp.json, confirm you own your domain, and
get you verified and discoverable in the registry.
BEA and every Beacon-aware agent can now transact with you, with a human approving anything that moves money.
