These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of beaconspec.com (the "Site"), operated by BeaconSpec ("BeaconSpec," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Services

BeaconSpec makes a business discoverable and transactable by AI agents over open standards (UCP and the Model Context Protocol), and provides related payment and API integration work. Information on the Site is general and informational. Any actual engagement is governed by a separate written agreement between you and BeaconSpec.

2. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to:

• Damage, disable, or impair the Site or its security.
• Attempt unauthorized access to any system or data.
• Scrape or harvest content through automated means without our permission.
• Submit false information or impersonate others.

3. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, design, logos, and graphics, is owned by BeaconSpec or its licensors and is protected by applicable law. You may not reproduce or reuse it without our express written permission.

4. The BeaconSpec Platform

Access to and use of the BeaconSpec platform, including any hosted or self-hosted deployment, is governed by the separate agreement that accompanies it, not by these Terms. Nothing on the Site grants a license to the platform.

5. Contact Form and Communications

When you submit our contact form or join our waitlist, you consent to us contacting you about your inquiry and the topic you raised. We do not add you to unrelated marketing lists without your consent.

6. Inquiries and Waitlist

Submitting an inquiry or joining the waitlist does not create a binding engagement or any obligation on either side. Any work BeaconSpec performs is subject to a separate written agreement.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its content is accurate or complete.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BeaconSpec is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold BeaconSpec harmless from any claims or costs arising from your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

10. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party sites and services we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, practices, or availability.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here, with a new effective date. Continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.
