Be the business an AI agent can actually find and buy from.
Shoppers are starting to ask an agent instead of opening your website, and business buyers are starting to do the same. The agent completes the purchase itself. If it can't discover you, or can't read the facts it needs to commit, it buys from a business it can and skips you, quietly, with no chance to make your case. BeaconSpec turns the APIs you already run into one curated server that agents discover and transact with over UCP, the open standard backed by Google, Shopify, Walmart, and Target.

Why now
The storefront is becoming an agent, not a webpage.
The big retailers already wired themselves into ChatGPT and Gemini. Everyone else is about to find out that "we have a website" is no longer the same as "we can be bought from." Agents compare stores the way a person never could, and they favor the ones they can read cleanly and buy from without friction. They need a machine-readable way to find you, understand what you sell, and act on a shopper's behalf. That layer is UCP, and almost nobody is ready for it.
01
Discovery is shifting
A shopper asks an agent "find me X and book it." If your business isn't discoverable to that agent, you simply don't exist in that moment. In August 2026 Google connected thirteen hand-picked apps to Gemini's billion monthly users, and there was no application process for anyone else (the briefing). A published interface is the way in that doesn't wait to be picked.
02
The rails are real
UCP is an open standard from Google with Shopify, Walmart, Target and 20+ partners, and the Model Context Protocol underneath it now sits with the Linux Foundation's Agentic AI Foundation, 247 members including Visa as of August 2026. It is not a maybe; it is the lane the market is moving into.
03
Your APIs aren't ready
The APIs you have were built for developers, not agents, and not for a shopper to log in through an AI. Bridging that gap is the work, and the moat.
04
Blocking isn't an option
In August 2026 a federal appeals court held that when an agent shops for a person, it's the person doing the accessing, so Amazon could not keep one off its own site (the ruling, explained). The control that's left is what you publish: what agents see, whose account they act in, and what they may do.
White-label & partners
The business is a channel: resell it under your own brand.
For consulting firms, agencies, and platforms, BeaconSpec runs as your own branded, single-tenant instance, multi-tenant to your customers. A repeatable unit you sell with your own team: an easy button for delivery that keeps surfacing the work (auth bridges, integrations) that becomes your services revenue. When an API isn't agent-ready out of the box, our team helps wire it up.
Your brand, your URL
A dedicated instance on your domain, your colors, your customers. We stay invisible.
Priced by connection
Predictable licensing by the number of API connections, so it scales with the value you deliver.
Services built in
The platform finds the gaps; your team (or ours) fills them. Every engagement opens the next.
What we do
Point us at your APIs. Get a server agents can use.
Give us the REST/OpenAPI and GraphQL APIs your business already runs. We convert them
into one curated MCP server and publish it as a UCP server card at your own
/.well-known, so any agent (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) can discover it
and call it. You choose exactly which operations are exposed; nothing leaks that you
don't approve.
And the hard part, real commerce needs the shopper signed in ("what's my order," "place my order"). We handle the standard login handshake so the agent logs the shopper into your existing accounts. No shared passwords, no custom work per AI.
How it works
Three steps from API to agent-ready.
Connect
Drop in your OpenAPI or GraphQL endpoint. We auto-detect it and turn every operation into a callable tool.
Curate
Pick exactly which operations agents can use, and tell us where shoppers log in. We do the rest.
Go live on UCP
We host it, or hand you a sealed container to run yourself. Either way you're discoverable, transactable, and in control of exactly what's exposed: the interface you defined, not the one an agent guessed at. The specs keep moving, and keeping up with them is our job rather than a standing item on your roadmap.
Insights
Writing on the shift from clicks to answers.
Field briefings on agentic commerce and AI discovery. Here's the latest.
Google wired thirteen apps into Gemini. There was no application form.
A billion people use Gemini every month, and thirteen companies just got a door into it. Everyone else in home services, healthcare, events and dining got nothing, and there is nowhere to apply.
